Hamilton Township is a township in Mercer County, New Jersey. It is just within the New York metropolitan area and directly borders the Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of 2017, the township had a total population of 89,000 people and it is the state’s 9th largest municipality. Hamilton Township also hosts one of the largest recreational parks in the state and borders another. You can find the Veterans Park which is a multi-use park that has walking and bike paths, as well as many other facilities. The Mercer County Park can also be found in Hamilton Township which borders the township to the North. The park contains Mercer Lake, which is one of the largest man-made lakes in the state.
